Hybrid All-on-4 Dentures
Hybrid dentures commonly called “All-On-Four” due to the four (sometimes five) implants that support them, are able to have a lot less acrylic than traditional dentures. The roof of the mouth is able to be left un-covered which helps maintain a better sense of taste and makes eating more enjoyable. The lower hybrid denture stays in place firmly and isn’t moved by the tongue. These prostheses provide the closest thing to having your natural teeth back! The implants fully support the hybrid dentures and allow them to sit up off of the gum tissue ever so slightly so that they can easily be cleaned underneath and maintained at home with special floss and a water pick. We also have our hybrid patients on a regular cleaning schedule with our hygienist to make sure everything stays healthy.

(*The hybrid dentures shown in the photo above are the temporary all-acrylic prostheses that are screwed into place the day of surgery. The permanent prostheses are made after six months of healing and have a strong, hidden titanium substructure covered by beautiful life-like acrylic.)
